Your Role as a CNH Representative

While CNH monitors all state legislative action year-round, your involvement is to follow quickly up, once informed of state CNH Calls to Action. CNH representatives are asked to respond immediately by writing personal letters or making phone calls to specific legislators. You may also personally visit your state legislators and/or staff. While sample letters often are provided for you as a quide to organizing your thoughts, personal letters are one of the most effective grassroots lobbying techniques available.

Must I Be an Experienced Political Player?

No...just a voting constituent. State legislators share one powerful common trait - the urge to get re-elected. Their political future depends upon passing legislation favorable to your family and business concerns. Failing to let them know which policies help and hinder you will be detrimental both to natural health and their political careers.

How Do I Benefit from CNH and Lobbying?

Natural health activists gain tremendous insight into how the legislative process actually shapes and determines healthcare policy. In addition, your ability to interact with state legislators will lead to more prominent and strategic positions within your personal organizations, and increase your reputation for getting things done among your natural health peers.

How Do I Get Involved?

Membership dues to CNH are $75 annually for professionals; $35 annually for students. Members receive quarterly newsletters, state legislative alerts when threatening bills are pending, and access to our Members' Only website with up-to-date legislative news.
